This course covers the basic introduction of Lean improvement concepts and methodology along with detailed discussions on how and why to complete an A3 planning document. The content is tailored to new Lean enthusiasts, quality teams and leads, team members and those with little or no formal training. In the second half of the course, you will learn how and when to integrate tools and techniques for improvement. You will work on mock exercises to gain knowledge and become more comfortable with the tools. The content is tailored to new Lean enthusiasts, quality teams and leads, team members and those with white belt training.

The sessions allow participants to apply their new quality improvement skills immediately. In the live sessions, participants will engage in polling questions and work in breakout groups. The emphasis throughout the session is on making improvements easy to understand and apply in the health sector.

Demo videos are provided to help you become more comfortable in working with the Lean tools.
